 Raised in Dallas, Bill attended Jesuit High School (now Jesuit College Prep) and received his Bachelors of Advertising Art and Design from Texas Tech. 

 He was a nationally syndicated editorial cartoonist for The Dallas Morning News for thirty-four years.

 He was a member of the American Association of Editorial Cartoonists.  He currently sits on the Jesuit College Prep Alumni Board of Directors and the Jesuit College Prep Art Foundation Board of Directors.

 Bill coached youth soccer, football, basketball and baseball for fifteen years through local school and sports organizations and is currently writing and illustrating an introductory level book on the game of soccer.

 Bill’s awards include the Fischetti Award for outstanding cartoon on a national level, ten Katie Awards for outstanding cartoon in a five state region, Texas School Bell Award and the national Small Business Award.

 Bill has two grown sons, Will and Patrick, and lives in Dallas, Texas.
