BILL DEORE,
SPEAKER
If you are looking for a dynamic
speaker who can finesse and charm an audience through the fortunes
and
foibles of a newspaper cartoonist’s career, then Bill DeOre fills the
bill nicely.
BACKGROUND
Bill’s background in “the business”
spanned thirty-four years as artist, art director and, most notably,
editorial and sports cartoonist for The Dallas Morning News.
Bill currently draws cartoons for DallasBlog.com, which more
than qualifies him as a pre-eminent observer of the transition from
the world of newspapers to the new frontier of internet news.
Bill was also a stand-out contributor
for The Dallas Morning News Speakers Bureau.
BILL’S MISSION
Bill is a speaker who can draw on his
natural sense of humor and timing balanced with a vast knowledge of
subject matter to captivate an audience. He uses an extensive slide
presentation including some of his most memorable cartoons to
highlight his running commentary. This guarantees that his audiences
will be rewarded with an informative and enriching experience.
BILL’S AUDIENCE
Bill is as comfortable with high
school and university audiences as he is speaking to business, church
or professional organizations. Bill has performed before crowds
numbering from thirty to five hundred.

performances have included;
